Val S. is a queer writer with interests in fiction, journalistic nonfiction, public health, and LGBTQ rights/content. With professional and academic experience in nonprofit grant writing and proposals, they understand the impact of the limitless intersections of the personal and the political.
Val is an MPH candidate at the Emory Rollins School of Public Health and previously received their B.S. in Health and Human Performance with a concentration in Public Health Education from the University of Louisville in 2015; followed by an NCHEC Health Education Specialist Certification (#25028, exp. 2021).
